Consent
By providing your mobile telephone number to Todd J. Amus, DDS PC, or by sending a text message to one of our office numbers, you consent to receive text messages from us at that number.
Types of Messages
We may send messages relating to appointment scheduling, confirmations, changes and reminders; replies to questions you send us; practice notices such as office closures, schedule changes, or a change of address; and occasional invitations to share feedback about your experience with our practice.

Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for text messages; your mobile carrier may.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message from us to stop receiving text messages. You will receive one message confirming your opt-out. You may also opt out by telling our staff or by calling either office. Opting out will not affect your care or your ability to schedule appointments by telephone.

Delivery Is Not Guaranteed
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and network conditions. Do not rely on text messaging for anything time-sensitive.
Text Messaging Is Not Secure
Please do not send detailed information about symptoms, medications, diagnoses, or other sensitive health matters by text message. Call the office instead. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
Text Messaging Is Not for Emergencies
If you are experiencing a medical or dental emergency, call the office directly or call 911. Do not send a text message and wait for a reply.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to consent to receive text messages from us. You must be the subscriber or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and you agree to tell us if that number changes or is no longer yours.
